StatoilHydro is an integrated oil and gas company based in Norway. We are the leading operator on the Norwegian continental shelf and are also experiencing strong growth in our international production. Production outside Norway represented 15.7% of all output in 2006, which averaged 1,135,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Represented in 34 countries, we have exploration and production activities in 15 of these. At 31 December 2006 we had 25,435 employees. We are one of the world’s largest sellers of crude oil and a substantial supplier of natural gas to the European market. We have substantial industrial activity and operate 1,803 service stations in Scandinavia, Poland, the Baltic states and Russia. Our goal is to create value for our owners through profitable and safe operations and sustainable business development without causing harm to people or the environment.
