Work Package 1 - Industrial Use Cases

This work packages defines real industrial use case scenarios such that detailed requirements can be provided to work packages 2, 3, 4 and 5, with these requirements ensuring that the research conducted throughout the project can deliver practical results.

Objectives

The objectives of WP1 are:

  • to define real industrial use case scenarios to ensure that WP2-5 deliver practical results.
  • to generate detailed requirements to the other four technical work packages WP2-5.
  • to define means and plans for validation of SHAPE results
  • to apply SHAPE results to the defined use cases and perform result validation
    • model the requirements of the StatoilHydri and Saarstahl cases using the SHAPE methodology and validate the methodology regarding its adequacy to model detailed industrial requirements.
    • apply model transformations to deploy SOA specification and validate the model transformations’ quality with respect to portion of hand-crafted code that has to be added to generate executable code.
