Work Package 2 - Model-Driven Methodology and Architecture
This work packages defines a model based methodology for designing service based landscapes using UPMSHA and for managing services through their entire life cycle. Additional methods for modeling flexible and reusable processes and services will be provided along with with a methodology for checking compliance between business processes and business contracts.
Objectives
The objectives of WP2 are:
- to define a model-based methodology for designing service based landscapes using UPMSHA
- to define a methodology and model for management of services through their entire lifecycle
- to define a methodology and model for management
- to define methods of modelling flexible and reusable processes and services
- provide a catalogue with requirements necessary to capture business relevant, CIM level information that also needs to be regarded on the SOA PIM level.
- analyse in how far existing modelling frameworks are able to capture this information or in which way they need to be extended.
- provide an extension of ARIS suitable to capture SOA relevant information.
- provide detailed requirements that a corresponding CIM metamodel has to fulfil (to be used in Task 3.4).
- define a methodology for checking compliance between business processes and business contracts
- to implement the defined method fragments and patterns
